Issue with Infotainment Screen Replacement

Hello,
Just bought a new to us 2018 cx5. The touch screen had the “ghost touch” issue so I bought a replacement from Amazon. Installed it but the touch part only worked in one very small spot. Figured it was bad. Ordered another one from another supplier. I cannot find any spots the touch part works at all. I made double sure the cables were installed correctly.

Am I getting junk screens or do they need calibration or something?

If you had the "ghost touch" Mazda would of replaced the screen for free. Not sure what they would do with a replacment screen. If you have the old screen contact the dealer, make sure it's covered and put the old one back in.
If you have the receipts you might be able to get reimbursement.

One a previous post I advised you to buy the whole display, not just the touch screen, precisely to avoid these kind of issues. It's a bit more expensive than just the touch screen but you are better off.
