exaust loose

ok not sure if its me or what but everyone of my friends say my tailpipe is everywhere when i am driving gets reall bad when i get on it real hard but is this normal or is there something wrong?

every one that i've seen has moved a lot not a problem unless your rubber hangers are broken but then the muffler would drag and that would be all bad!

Yeah, if you crank up your car and get out and look at you tail pipe, it shakes a lot. I guess there arent enough supports on it or something.

I was driving one day and everytime I changed gear I was hearing a rattle from the rear of my car. so when I got home I decided to gt out and check it(after I turned it off). well the muffler swayed a bit just by pushing on it lightly. thinking that one of the hangers had broken I crawled underneath the rear end and checked it. no broken hangers or anything. but I did notice that there was only 2 hangers on the muffler(1 on each end)and none on the actual tailpipe, which I think is rather long for a tailpipe, and that the 2 existing hangers looked a little weak in the gills. well the rubber hangers are being pulled by our heavy az muffler, not to mention that they are the stock muffler hangers from every other protege. so all in all I think we need upgraded hangers for our exhaust on the MP3.

Actually there are a total of 4 hangers... two on the muffler, and two on the Cat way down near the engine. I agree with you though, it is a little flimsy. There should be some more support along the middle section.

hrm i wonder if there is anything we can do about it can the dealerships fix this or what hrm makes yah think lol and that hurts
