I realize you drive a EVO and you may think its the greatest car and you may thing these guys are god for posting a video of them "smoking a ferrari." Trust me I like the EVO too. But I still think its a lame video as if I was the driver of the ferrari I woudl be pissed and let you have your day of fame. What I saw was a ferrari trying to pass a EVO and the owner thought he was racing and would not let him pass. Perhaps you should tell them they are comapring a $32K car to a $150K car. Lots of cars are fast in straight line racing. A Dodge Dart with a blown hemi may be faster in a striagh line but it doesnt really mean anything.

BTW The F1 paddle shifter on the early ferrari's (modena 360s) were crap actually. Clarkson, tiff and vicki always made front of it. "flappy gear box," "Rubbish" and "Michela schimacher gizmo" The F430 and Enzo have brilliant F1 stlye gear boxes...best money can buy on a production car. But I think Jason PLato on 5th gear still says the downshift was notchy and you still had to blimp the throttle to get a smooth downshift...but the upshifts were pure sex.
BTW comparing exotics to mooded cars are lame. Its like comparing cheese cake factory cheese cakes to burger king cheese cake. Both are made out of chees but why is CCF chargin $8 for a slice? You can buy your own topings and put it on the BK cheese cake but its still a bK cheese cake.
. I tell people I drive a protege all the time...no harm in that (althought I dont really like it). I have no problem telling people this is my daily driven protege that is fun to drive. What you dont want to do is become a SRT-4 owner and when you beat someboy deny its a neon. "Its not a neon...its a SRT-4." in the old days they use to call evos "LAncer Evolution." Im not sure if they still do but under mitsu sit its still listed as a lancer evolution. hence its a lancer on steriods (different engine and tranny but the chasis is a lancer).
