.....the fact remains they have horrible build quality, horrible customer sat ratings, amazing number of recalls, and overall are about 10 years behind the rest of the world.

....and the facts back it up.


That being said though I'd own a Z06 Corvette right now......best bang for the buck you can buy....as long as you keep a few quarts of oil under the seat

What facts? I'd really like to see the facts. Import have their problems too. I agree that Imports have more refined interiors for the most part, but as for build qulaity.....well I think the big three have made great improvements in the last ten years and really closed that gap.

Yes the Z06 is probably the best bang for your buck. You can leave the oil at home though. LS6 and LS1 engines do not use and any to my knowledge. Yeah they have pushrods...so what....they are probably the best pushrod V8 ever designed for mass production. way underrated engines too (LS1 = 365 flywheel HP, LS6 = 425 flywheel HP). Plus I still get 27 MPG on the highway.

Shitting on domestics because they are domestic is just typical rice boy banter and have no factual base.

Check out the JD Power website......as recent as 2001 there was pretty much a clean sweep across all categories in initial quality by Japanese and German brands. Not only by vehicle segment but in ratings of manufacturing factories too.....the only places you can find domestics there are where there is no foreign competition like "full size cars" and vans and s***.
