Brand new to forum communities, but hoping the collective expertise could point me in the right direction - I have an 08 CX 9 with 148k miles and recently had the engine light come on with the intermittent smell of gas at start up. It failed inspection and returned P0456 failure code (EVAP Leak Detected - very small leak). Reset the code and the light hasn’t tripped yet, but I know it’s only a matter of time.
I’ve seen several threads where folks have discussed replacing the solenoid in the engine compartment, but haven’t been able to locate its whereabouts? I thought I was looking for the valve PV749, but I could be off on that as well? Appreciate if anyone with an 08 or close may have done this repair and might have a picture of where they found the part.
