ETS 3.25" TMIC Finally Installed!!!

ya thats what i was thinkin i wanted, i like their design the best so far. and the price seems the most reasonable

i already got that in the mail. what gains do u expect with the fmic? their website claims like 80 hp haha idk where or how they came up with that....

um...holy s***...you ran a 12.7 at 107??? that's pretty badass. Where the hell have I been!??!? lol. I've been trying to stay off the forums so I don't get mod happy again (like I did with all my previous cars) but you just blew it for me!!!!

damn you and your driver mod!! haha. what track do you go to?

firebird in boise, id. 2700ft. car had more in in. Only got 4 runs that day. Was having some serious issues with traction. i could only muster a 1.80 60ft. More to come for sure.

Thats what I've noticed from getting all these parts... I get on the forum, talk about mods, get the mod, and its a slight let down because I was expecting so much...

Though, there are only 2 mods that were right on!!! That was the MS CAI and the TRZ motor mount.

Even if I didnt see a significant increase in performance just from ic, I'll feel alot better as I modify the engine. some security from a cooler intake charge . My ETS will be here next week oh boy!

Awaiting results

no im just gonna try the turbo xs unit with the turbo xs fmic

Yea it seems logical to tie tuned products together. I'd like to hope manufacturers are linking their products to create a tested package. Or I can just wait for you to do it! thks 311

Yep, I got them from PG!! I haven't received them yet... Should be coming in this week... I'll post the sizes when I get them...

Those stock worm clamps are strong, but I don't trust them on FI applications.

OK, so I finally got to install my boost tubes and t-clamps this weekend!!!

Here are the sizes you need for the t-clamps (t-clamps are open up to their max size with no threads protruding):

I took pictures cause the clamps did not have a stamped size on them ((huh) weird), they only had a part number; clamps made by Vibrant.

I hope this helps you guys...

When I was removing the stock clamps, I was surprised on how lightly torqued they were... I had no leaks, but I did notice my boost is a little more solid. Maybe that due to the upgraded hoses not flexing as much as the stockers and/or the combination of the higher clamping force of the t-clamps.

i'm sure it's been stated but are the boost tubes the stock size? I would assume so if you were using the stockers on your upgraded TMIC for a week or so. i might think about getting the boost tubes since they are rather simple mod and see if they show a difference on a stock car with a boost gauge (and later on ill get the tmic anyways).

What are you exactly asking for? (huh)
Stock size in terms of inner diameter; they have to be to fit...

The pictures in my previous post of the tubes are the stock tubes.

The only difference I saw in terms of performance was that my boost no longer fluctuates in terms of 15.XX...

im interested in these because I feel like I am getting a small leak in the hot side tubing and would like to have something more stable there...whered you buy these from and about how much?

PG sells them... They have a kit with the tubes and clamps. But you can have Ken order the clamps separately if you prefer.
I've also seen Turbonetics clamps at Summit Racing for about $6-7 bucks or so a pop in all sizes.

hmm, i dont see the kit but i do see the tubes and clamps. I have a good idea what size i need, but ur pics are a little confusing with the tape measure, mind listing the sizes you got so I can be sure? Thanks

Thats why I posted the pictures with the tape measure... I don't know what size they are. The clamps don't have it stamped on it...

I thought if I posted a measurement of the stock tubes and t-clamps, one could estimate the size.

You can always call PG for the sizes...

The pictures of the t-clamps with the tape measure is representing the t-clamp with zero threads protruding. This is the max size they would open.
