Enough Already!

One of the founding principles of this country is that the police are bound by the laws they enforce.
Unless of course you're Homeland Security or a traffic cop.

I agree on this. It is really bad where I live with cops not following the rules. They don't even turn on their lights. In addition my town is old and doesn't have sidewalks so you walk in the street most of the time near the curb and the cops are zooming by at 60 or 70 in a residential, give me a break.

Somewhat off topic but did anyone see the story out of Dallas, TX where a cop stopped, I believe it was a Houston Texans football player, trying to get into the hospital to see his mother in law before she passed away. The cop wouldn't let him go because he ran a red light, after the cop gave him so much s*** and by the time he went into the hospital she had passed away, this just makes me sick.

If you think the Speed3 is bad, you should try owning an Evo, STI, S2000, or M3. Those also have the problem of being huge cop magnets.

This happened to me this morning, and has happend to me alot lately. Not being challenged, but just people being anoying. On the highway I move over to pass them. Just as my rear bumper is even with their front bumper, they start to speed up. I give er some gas but they keep accelerating too. ITS SUCH A ******* DICKHOLE THING TO DO! Don't ******* speed up when someone is trying to pass you! CHRIST! I don't know if these people are just retarded or trying to **** with me.

This morning it happed with some douche in some honda abortion. I couldn't tell if it was an SUV or truck. I had Cruise control on, passed the guy and then he started to speed up so i couldnt move back over. The more I sped up the more he did too. This went on for about a minute until I got on the gas hard, and left him behind. He was about a quarter mile back for about 10 mins, then gets in the left lane catches up, passes me, gets about 100 ft infront of me hangs there for a few miles then lets of the gass and I have to go around him again. I hope his house burns down with him inside!

I dunno what it is but this keeps happening, and it often means people lingering in my blind spots. Not cool!

I have been living in Mass for 4 years now and totally agree with the "Massholes" post. Some of the worst driving I have ever seen up here. For the love of GOD, the left lane is for passing! I am originally from PA and this was never a problem in that state or any other state below CT for that matter. People treat the left lane like the right lane in the Northeast. Also Peter B, I am starting a new position in Wustah next July so you will prob. see me on the highways at some point (True red 08.5 currently with a Trans am like MS3 bra on the front to protect against chips... I'll be having a 55 mile commute each way back to this dump of western mass (bought a house at the end of the housing market peak and would lose like 40 grand if I sold it now), but that is why I bought the MS3...something to keep me entertained on the road. I need to figure out the speed traps on 90 and 290.

I don't get challenge but even if I do I don't race so any other drivers who wants a challenge with me can go f... them selves. But I do like to pull hard away from traffic (spirited driving, from a roll no burning tires) and funny thing is that no one follows. Not like I want them to anyways. Maybe they don't know the MS3 and were not expecting it and get stung or they know and don't have a chance. good times...good times. For the most part i'm left alone which is cool.

Had a couple kids in a old accord with a "fart can" pull up next to and tell me how the liked the car, give them props for realizing they didn't stand a chance and not wanting to race

Coming from a 20 year old, totally not worth it. It happens a few times a week. When I notice they're trying to get my attention, I'll give some a one gear pull to **** with them, and watch them go ripping their next 4 gears while I laugh. Most of them just think they won the race, I personally couldn't care less.

In Canada, any speeding above 50km/h over the limit is considered street racing (car immedietly towed, $10,000 fine, licence suspended.) So for you American drivers visiting, watch yourselves.

I haven't had anyone challenge me really. Today I was at a stop light mindin my own and I heard someone revving on me. It was a guy in a GTI. I tell you if look could kill I would be gone haha. Then after work I passed a STI at about 40 mph and I could hear him ripping though his gears to catch up but then got off the highway maybe 150 yards down. I was actually disappointed.

I live in New Jersey and street racing summons work a little different. Its pretty much officer discretion and speed doesnt always have to be a factor. Before entering the academy, I got stopped with an SRT-4 who flew past me! I was getting ready to exit when the officer pulled up and told me to pull over ahead. Was doing 55 in a 50 and minding my own business. Got out of it but after a lecture about racing and then explaining what my future career choice was.
I dont get screwed with alot, its debadged completely and not alot of people realize its turbo. Had another 3 hatch get next to me yelling at me he liked how my car sounded and wanted to race. I explained I was turbo and he rolled his window up. Kinda funny, didnt need to waste my gas or ruin my license. Ill save it for the track.

Karma is indeed a b****...
