You need a 5W30 per mfg recommendation. That 5 on the bottom end is important, as is staying away from 40 wt and higher.

You will benefit from running a full synthetic.

Beyond that, it's a beauty contest with fanboys for just about all the brands. Choose any major brand, so long as it meets ALL the mfg's standards set forth in your owners manual.

It ain't rocket science, but full synthetic is better for the temperatures inside the turbo housing. There is an oil line to and from the turbo shaft journal and that oil gets very, very hot.

i though 5w30 is for brandnew car, mines almost hitting 19k. someone from local shop told me go for 10w30. im getting oil change soon, im really stuck on oils...??

5w-30 is pushing it in hotter climates. I personally go for 10w-30 in Florida. Many would say even that is too light. 10w-30 is pretty safe in my opinion. the 5w bases tend to shear down especially in a turbo application.

The best thing you can do for your car is change the oil on a regular basis. 3,000 miles on regular oils, and around 4 to 5k on full synthetics. for the synthetics, that sounds a bit early, but remember, this is a turbo application so it runs the oil much hotter. If you were dead set on running fully synthetic longer, it's wise to invest in getting the oil analysed to determine it's best change point. Blackstone Labs is a major oil testing service.

You should run 5w30 as recommended by the manufacturer unless you live in an area that experiences extreme climates. I run valvoline 5w30 full synthetic but i'd say any major brands such as valvoline and castrol, but if you got extra money to spend you could consider royal purple. Hope that helped.

I'd suggest using either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30. They are the only oils that meet the stringent Honda/Acura HTO-06 standard that was developed to address the lubrication needs of the turbocharged engine in the Acura RDX.
