Engine noise and behaviour

I bought a Mazda 2 1.25 Comfort

When the car is in neutral, and the motor is running is it normal that the rotation pointer might go a tiny little up and down?
Also, when i'm accelerating in 2nd gear i might hear at first some "tsssss" in the motor, is it normal?

You mean the RPM gauge going up and down? It's normal, especially on start up as the engine warms up. It won't stay put just because the rpm isn't going to be 100% dead and the engine changes constantly. If the car is running fine then there's no problems. If it is jumping a lot then you may have a vacuum leak and will be running terribly.

As far as the noise... I'm not even going to try and diag a noise via internet, it's just too difficult. It's hard to diag noises if you aren't right in front of them. Have you gone by your dealership yet?

Thanks for the awnser, yeah dealership says it's normal, but we never know when people are lying...
Meanwhile I talked to a friend and he has the same doubts as me, so yeah, maybe it's normal
