engine monitoring Software 4 Computer

Is there any software to hook up to your engine that you hook up to a computer. Im running a computer in my car and I wanted to have a program to display on my clarion VRX815 for shows. It would look bad as hell if I could hook it up.

I know linux(i think) posted info on a device to attach to a palm for dyno... Im sure theres something for a PC tho.. sorry...
