Engine light? FPR noise?

If I have to drive this car forever without a stereo, I'm ebaying the turbo. If I have to choose the stereo wins, but I don't like it.

(sad2)

Screw that. Turbo > stereo

Do stock mp3s really hit 120db?

Sure once you add and Optima battery, 200 amp alternator, 1/0 wire, run all new speaker leads, JL 1000/1, JL 300/4, MB Quart Qs, 2 BA Pro 12's, Alpine head unit and rip out every piece of the stock system.

120's the average listening level for me.

Sorry to break back off the topic of audio....

Keith@FM - didn't get a chance to call you, had to go to work as I read that message but if you like I'll def. give you guys a holler. I just recieved the ECU gizmo/fix today. Looks good. I ordered the ACT clutch kit and now have to ask the question (drum roll)....

- Is it safe for me to raise the boost? Say, from 6 to 8 or 9 psi?

I checked the bolts on the manifold and hear no exhaust leaks. No problem getting full boost whatsoever. To the people having problems with loose bolts - how was your kit installed? Professionally, by yourself, etc. Just curious.

I'm trying to hide the fact to.. That's why I have a pillar mounted carbon fiber boost/EGT gauge, a loud BOV, and an OVERBOOST.com license plate holder-not too mention the amazing sound the turbo makes when spooling.

hehe

I feel ya! I upgraded to the FM BOV, and it sounds so phuckin tight!! It only cost me around $88 for the upgrade. I just sent FM my unused one that came with the kit. First you hear a "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" from the turbo spooling up, and then a loud "PSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" when you shift! My personal plates got approved by the way, so my car will soon read: FST MP3 on the back!

Once you've got that voltage clamp in there, you should be safe at 8 psi of boost. I would not recommend going higher on a stock bottom end.

The FM BOV is an $85 option when you buy the kit from us. We'll have all our pricing available today, it appears.
