I was thinking can the engine analyser detect if the engine is using too much fuel I smell gas when I start the car lately also it has a hard time starting it turns over more than normal lately

Slow crank is normal in cold temps, you may want to pull up the back seat and take a look at the top of the fuel pump assembly to ensure it isn't leaking.

thanks for reply's,it is cold here but I dont't believe thats the problem,I was thinking the battery is getting weak or alternator ,but it could be ^^^that was suggested. The other thing I have been noticing is the engine has been lopping if thats a good discription of it ,kind of like its being slightly starved of fuel, a slight up down idle ,very slight. But I will keep in mind the above suggestions. Thanks again( OH I did a new fuel pump(housing) last summer)

I'm almost positive you should never smell raw gas,... you may have a disconnected EVAP line or bad valve,... It's supposed to warm up to a balmy -3*C on Thursday,... maybe you could check for the source then.

If you smell raw gas out the tailpipe then you could be doing real damage to your pre-cat.

Seafom ,... (fuel and brake booster)
