engine damper kit *in beta*

I know everyone would love to get one to test out. However, it might be an idea to give the test dampers to people with different car setups - i.e. one with stock mounts, one with front AWR mount only and one with with both front / rear AWR mounts. This would give an idea of how it would affect different setups. of course, it might not be possible but its just a thought.

I have the street unit front and rear mounts. Check my sig.

If you need a tester....i'm inn. Would love to see if it would hlep the vibes.

MY RESUME LOL:

I have AWR "Automatic" front and rear motor mounts, and a totally stock motor if you need R&D input. 50,000 miles and a lot of stop and go city / highway everyday (35 miles round trip). I "gently" light my tires weekly or more. Let me know if I can help.

BUMP for updates. Just wanted to know if there has been any progress on this. I am just finishing off some other mods and need something else to spend money and time on

agreed with AusOrion... need to spend more money on my msp... looking forward to this alot actually!

So is this really worth it? I like the idea of helping with vibration from solid mounts. That would be awesome. But I have always thought theese things were a waste and didnt do much.

engine dampers help as long as they are mounted correctly. If you get one mounted incorrectly, its just there for show.

That picture of how his was mounted on the 1st post doesnt look very strong to me. Is there a better option or is this the best one. I dont know anything about these.

Where in texas do you live? If you'd rather have someone close by to test them on stock engine mounts then id be up for it. Alright dumb question...how would this work for people that dont have strut bars? Do you need a strut bar to hold down the second bracket thats on the strut mount or no?

still shopping around for machine shops; first one gave me a crazy quote.

Its taking awhile since I'm having to do this on my own time.

Thats ok. Just got a raise at work and will be looking to spend of the extra dosh on some mods.

Let us know when you have some news. Cheers.
