Hey I was looking around the forums for "tucked" engine bays or cleaned up bays...anyone have ideas, feedback, and maybe pics? I'm trying to decide if I want to keep cruise control and a/c. I'm leaning towards deleting a/c because it's not working properly to begin with and my car runs very rough with it on. I was also thinking about relocating the battery to the trunk...good or bad idea?

ac has been deleted by many members here. I don't know about cruise control. A battery relocation has been done before also. You wanna see a pic of a tucked bay? I'll show you one..lol

Overflow looks tucked under the headlight. Probably removed windsheild washers and Power Steering too

Here's my bay with tucked harness over the IM/VC and custom mounted nology hotwires. Also Signature Sound modified VC with urban camo hydro-print

Okay so I've been slowly trying to clean up and eliminate any unnecessary things under the hood to clean up the bay. I'm wondering about sensors that may not be needed and what is more important, I've taken out my cruise control taken off alot of brackets that aren't needed, starting to look alot better but always looking to improve it. I've read the how to on Mazda 247 but it doesn't go into great detail

How did you relocate your overflow tank ? I can't seem to find a good spot to move mine to.

my bay is getting completely tucked, no p/s, ac, fuese box relocated, stitch welded, tucked harness. it will have a motor in there soon lol

I haven't relocated my overflow tank yet, I personally don't like the factory one so I'm gonna look on eBay for a slim design one to mount

Definately not a TUCK bay, but you can have clean, just by making things have a common theme..

I want all wires if I could, I don't like the ignition coils..is there a how to?

Mines just a start, but here is a pic. Next I plan on cleaning up the intake manifold and removing a/c.

What are you guys doing to move the coil packs from the top of the motor?
there isnt really a way to do that with the stock coils, you can run 1.8 coils and put the coilpacks somewhere else, or if your a baller like brian you can run the AEM pencil coils
