Wow...I wonder who else has this type? You might want to give your production month/year so if someone wants to do the same, they can order the bar...But at $50 each the adjustable sway bar link might be cheaper.

WiL
production date is 4-01

Damn my car is almost 5 years old. That sucks.

I just went and checked my car as well... its an early 02 and its got the straight bars.. hmmm...

Perhaps they were all bent due to some sort of accident...
one wierd ass accident to bend all 4 exactly the same and in the exact same spot, and to still be aligned... I kind of half remember seeing a guy on here that has a 4 wheel drive sport 20, post an undercar pic and i think his were bent like mine. Maybe mine are for the AWD version? Maybe they were short the straights at the factory and some ended up like mine with the bent ones?

nice new sig brian.

ok so im trying to figure out wtf is going on. i want to get the awr rear sway bar, and it will be coming with endlinks and such (getting from group buy possiblly) so my question is i have tokicos(blues) with espelir springs do have anything to worry about to make a long story short?

second question y are the endlinks adjustable... like what does adjusting it how does that help?

It helps by customizing the fit of the connection between the strut & the sway bar to keep things from hitting each other & being put in a bind. It makes the car say aaaahhhh instead of oooooooooo.

You can also make one longer than the other to corner in one direction better. It's used in conjunction with lowering one side like on an "oval track"..

The BARS were bent by Aliens who are trying to take over the world one Protege at a time..

Funny thing is that they will rust out before the get a chance to Kill everybody.

Bent is DUMB!
