tomorrow could be it for my mazda. the ignition is completely out of wack, batt goes on, power is not an issue, but u turn the key to start and nothing happens. Happens sporatically, everyday, sometimes the engine wont turn on in 4 or 5 trys.

my black cherry could be at the end of the line, at 7k miles. o well. see what happens with this hunk of junk.

if i change vehicles, it will be an RDX or the infiniti g35 awd. im on the fence about getting another 7, i love it to death but the problems ive had so far have me second guessing. My thought is, is that i just got one bad lemon and Mazda cant be this bad lol.

well see

It certainly does look like you got a lemon. I'd love to see you give a different CX-7 a try, but it would be understandable if the sour taste was too much. Has your service departments handling of the situation gotten any better?

No, i actually had my car serviced at a mazda-only dealer the last time and the experience was great. The tech they have was Mazda's #1 master tech in the US twice, i think the last year being 05 or 04. Just piece of mind. Its a low volume dealer and even less volume in service which means more time per vehicle. However, this new problem will be addressed by the dealer i bought the car from.

I am trying to find a different color that I like, the white with the clear coat has definately grown on me, and it really has become impossible to keep my black cherry clean

You have a lemon my friend

i have had absolutely no problems with mine (other than low MPG but that's probably my right foot's fault).

Chances of you getting 2 lemons in a row is pretty remote. Try to get it lemon lawed and offer the let Mazda just swap it out straight up for a new one.

I've had no issues with mine. I think you must have gotten one of the 1st year lemons.

Give the 7 another chance. You just had a lemon car since most of us here are enjoying ours. Get the Electric Blue and you'll get compliments on the color...trust me. Good luck. update us on what you get OK
