Emanage Library

As some of you may know before I closed shop I was heavily invloved with the emanage on our cars. In a few weeks I will be further tuning a turbo MP3 and will share the maps with everyone. Hopefully this will stimulate some more emanaged proteges and we can post and share maps and settings to get ideas and. This has never been done before on this forum and I think it would be neat to start a emanage library. I will post this as a sticky soon and will post maps and make downloads available via this post. The subaru forums already have something like this and Turbo XS and other manufacturers even come on line and offer support. Maybe we can have some other tuners that offer engine managemnt solutions come on and start libraries offering support for there systems (wink) such as Nick and Perfworks.

In about 2 weeks I will make the maps available and offer all the settings and whats needed to get one started

Cheers

what caused the motor the blow? Was it the ecu fighting the emanage's changes?

didn't you overboost or something spoond?

ive got an emanage, and im the owner of that turbo mp3 that terry is going to tune. woot.

Awesome Terry!

So the e-manage does work with the Protege's? Any problems with the ECU 'learning' around it?

I haven't had any problems with it relearning, and its been what, 4 months since we tuned my car terry?

Cool to hear.

How will this compare to the AEM unit that nick and andy are working on?

Gimme a call sometime if you're up for a drive, Terry. I think you still have my cell #.

It doesn't, the AEM is a full standalone, where this is just a piggyback. Its alot cheaper than the aem though, but the aem would give you much better control over the motor.

Interesting...What does the E-Manage give you control over?

And, how did you get it to work, when Tuboge was having problems?

Is it the difference between the MSP ECU and the MP3 ECU?

Yea, I think its the difference between the ecu's because terry tried one on an msp, and it had the same problems.

You've got control over fuel w/ larger injectors and whatnot, timing, can do boost cut maps, lots of other stuff. We're just getting started on trying things with my car :)

Yes not much luck with the MSP

But it works great on the MP3/PRO5

as a few of you guys may know i had the emanage on my car a month or so ago and i couldnt get any of my settings to stay on my car...

what did you guys do differently to get the settings to stay.. i ended up giving back the emanage ... but now im regreting it b/c these maps are gonna be posted...

I thought the AEM was going to come in 2 flavors a full race standalone and a PNP piggyback.

Its still going to be better than the emange, I haven't been keeping up with the aem thread though, because I really dont like the system.

No clue, did you save the maps to the emanage after you exported them? I haven't had a problem with the unit not keeping the maps, or the stock ecu fighting it.
