Eliminate door sill scuffs

My CX-5 is white as well, and I have the OEM sill plates. They do prevent shoe scuffs, and look fine in terms of quality, although I personally find the sizing, shape and placement a bit odd, especially on the back door. Those look a bit small to my eye.

There are other aftermarket options to be considered as well, including some more straightforward rectangular ones, like these:

Not sure how cheap this option may look or how well they actually fit, but I think visually I might like these a bit better. Plus, it looks like they offer actual edge protection, which the OEM ones do not.

I got a set that look just like these, but I bought them through AliExpress. They fit quite well. I like that the stainless steel covers the edge, because that is the area that wears first. When installing anything like this I get 3M primer to help with adhesion of the double stick.

Or you can go with a vinyl decal. I was exploring sill plates, but then figured the plates themselves could get scuffed/scratched up which would not look very nice. At least with the decals they can be replaced as needed.
