this has been covered 1000 times before the mazda 3 was born...its useless, save your money.

its gona cost like 15 dollars...im not buying this one that is bulls*** price but we are going to make one...hobby shop motor or something and some pipes

lol enjoy wasting money... all its going to do is make more turbulence in the airflow going into the throttle body and make it worse

it would push more air in...have u ever done this personally? how do u know? you think you know? you have no idea! the diary of clos561(thought)

this is about as bulls*** as they get...

the fan does not move anywhere near enough air to raise intake pressure. taylor is right. The only thing thats going to do is block flow from incoming air. Think about it this way, the fan is basically a modified 120mm computer fan. Do you think that fan has the ability to move the air any faster than incoming intake charge? umm... sorry but no.

ever wonder why NOBODY HAS ONE?! Its been out since 97. If it worked, we would all endorse it. But, unfortunately this isnt the case.

it will not spin fast enough to flow more air than your engine is drawing naturally therefore it will just get in the way and create turbulence

no, i dont know personally because im smart enough to know to save my money

but hey, what do we know? Go ahead, tell your freind to do it. Let me know how it goes when the airplane motor gets sucked into his engine through the throttle body, that should increase horsepower

Seriously, here's an experiment that will tell you, and I'm not saying this just to shut you up.

If your car has a CAI or SRI take off the filter (don't do this in a dust storm) and put your fingers over the end of the intake pipe while the car is running. You will feel the amount of suction your engine is making all by itself. Have someone rev the engine. It will just about suck the fingers off of your hand! Now, take the fan (electric supercharger) and hook it up to a power source. If the wind off of that fan doesn't blow you out of the garage, it's not strong enough to accelerate the air going into your engine!

Make sense?

If you don't have CAI or SRI, figure out where the car actually does take in air, or pull pieces off of the intake system 'til you have a nice finger-friendly hole. Continue the experiment as listed above.

Seriously, I know like a million people have posted this before me, but this is such a crock..

The fan on that thing pushes in air slower than your car can already suck in air. So what happens when that happens? The fans get in the way of the flowing air and slow it down, causing you to lose power.

Not only that, but its been proven that the electrical draw on the alternator from this useless mod is even more detrimental to your performance.

The idea is good, the product is bad.

Maybe you could hook up a leaf-blower and see how that works. I do have to admit I thought about trying this when it first came out, but I decided not to go with it. Dude, just don't waste your money. But if you do post pics......(nana)

it is a gimmicky ebay piece of s*** and even if you make your own for cheaper it is still a waste of time and will probably be worse for your car....

Let me guess you are the same guy that bought the Ebay performance chip that gets you 20HP! and you spent 6 bucks on it...even though it is just a resistor that doesnt help your horsepower and only costs .05 cents at any hardware store....

HAHAHA i just checked out the website and they actually sell these things for like 299 bucks!! they were on ebay years ago for 20 bucks and they were the same E-Ram brand!!! youll probably have better luck with the TURBONATOR! but s*** you probably already bought that instead of saving some money and buying worthwhile parts....

You ask for feedback then you flame people for giving their opinion. If you don't want to hear it then don't ask. I agree this mod does look shady so probablly safe to just stay away and look for something that is better known to give results you want. Thread lock on the way...

There has been dyno figures that these electric superchargers work....but mainly on larger displacement engines.....but soooooo not worth the money. 1-2hp is not worth it.

the way I see it, if he, or his friend, want to try it I say go for it. Hell, post up some dyno numbers and at least we'll know either way. I wouldn't do it on my car, but like somebody said, maybe it will get sucked into the throttle body and we'll have an awesome video for the photo/video section.

If you can get that fan to spin around 15k to 20k RPMs it may work but that isnt going to happen.
That site is crazy..They say it dont block air flow even tho the fan dosent even spin untill you go full throttle.Even when the fan is spinning its blocking flow but they think it doesnt because they use a 3" pipe..Isnt the MS CAI 3"?I think it is.So If I stick a fan in my intake and block half the pipe that will not restrick air flow...(screwy)
Common sence can save you hundreds on Ebay....
