this is about as bulls*** as they get...

Think about it this way, the fan is basically a modified 120mm computer fan.

I didn't know my computer had a supercharger.. Screw adding more RAM.. I'll just add more fans.

You ask for feedback then you flame people for giving their opinion. If you don't want to hear it then don't ask. I agree this mod does look shady so probablly safe to just stay away and look for something that is better known to give results you want. Thread lock on the way...

i think he was just quoting an MTV show, not being an ass. "You think you know, but you have no idea. This is the diary of... blah blah blah..."(inout)

I already closed the first thread you made about this, and then 5 minutes later you make a duplicate?

That's a slap in the face and a willful defiance of myself and the forum rules. I've imposed a 24-hour temp ban. Use this time to read over the forum rules so you fully understand them. This will prevent things like this from happening in the future.

This thread will remain open for a short while for anyone who wishes to respond. It will be closed later on this evening.

scientific content.

I may be wrong on this but, your car isn't sucking in air at all underload. I am under the impression that the cylinders are actually void of air after a combustion event. Thus making a low pressure spot where the atmosphereic pressure rushes in when the valves open to equalize the void. So basically air is pushed in not pulled. I know big deal right? E-rams are still a joke and they will never work. Maybe you could mount an air compressor and tank in the trunk and wire up 100psi shop air bursts. Now that's got to be power for the same price!!!

Seriously, can someone buy this and tell us about it. I'm far past overdue for a good laugh.

I think you are wrong. The internal combustion engine is like a vacuum, sucking air at the intake stroke.

But he is right about the air being "pushed" in by the atmosphere. I remember my chemistry teacher from highschool always yelled at people who used the words "sucks and air" together. Air molecules gets pushed in where there is less or no air molecules present (ie air goes into a vacuum).

This electric fan stuff is all garbage. But I have seen a few videos on streetfire and youtube about people doing dyno runs with a leaf blower. On stock civic si it added about 20-30 whp if I remember correctly (I know it was some crazy amount (boom06) ). Now the only thing you need to figure out is how to attach a leaf blower under your hood, and find enough power from your alternator to support it and not fry the electric motor after using it for more than 2 hours.

No No, let him purchase this product and he can give us first hand experience on it. I wanna see results. (yes)
