Eibach Pro Kit Installed (pics)

The progressive design are nice. I can tell a clear upgrade in performance after having them in for two weeks now. The car turns in much better now. I can make a quick aggressive turn and I'm always surprised my car just "does it now", where before the suspension would lean much more then catch up to what I wanted it to do a second later. Cruising wise it's as comfortable as stock. Even when I accidentally hit a big bump or pot hole it doesn't feel damaging. These springs are for those who like the car to be a daily driver but want an improved planted feeling without any drawbacks. Personally it's perfect for me. I think it's great for the MS3 since most people want their cars to remain "sleepers" in general. Basically this is how it should of came from the factory, but since it's a mass market they Mazda had to compromise a little.

Well said, I need to get a few more miles on mine and get some of the local MS3 guys and see what they think and how it compares to stock but so far I'm really liking it.

Got that RSB on yet Matt? I want to drive your car when you have that done. Then I can decide on whether to get Springs or not.

It's been about two months now.
What's your impressions?

Well unfortunately now its the middle of winter and I dont get to do much spirited driving. The springs did settle some and made it probably a total of around an inch drop. I also installed my cobb RSB a week ago and that seems to have stiffened up the rear end a nice amount (stiffest setting). The combination makes the car feel great in the corners, very well controlled, but it is a tad bouncy over potholes and uneven roads. It doesnt bother me but I have had fellow MS3 owners comment on it.

Ive had them on my car since september, so Ill toss in my input. The springs are doing well, no bad comments. If your looking for a good upgrade and your looking to keep stock shocks, these are for you. I wasnt able to make my last autox with them on, so Ill give you results this spring. I no longer get wheel hop with these springs, before everyone said the TRZ mount would get rid of all hop, well....it didnt. I can slam on the gas in the rain, and just spin. Just my thoughts, if you have any questions, please ask

Now that turbo23 brought it up I havent noticed wheel hop either. I dont really launch my car hard but before the mm and springs you'd still get it on occasion. I spin my wheels quite a bit in the wet or snow without any hop. Unless you want to go all out then run coilovers but I think these are a good choice for price and performance.

I've been thinking about these springs since they were announced, but wanted to hold off a while and see what forum members had to say about their "real world" experiences with them.

I'm not looking for the slammed look, and with my 245/45's my fenderwells are filled out quite nicely already.
Wheel hop on hard launches is a little bit of an issue, especially now that it's cold and it's harder to hook up.
The other thing I would like to correct is the "floaty" feeling at higher speeds... lane changing, etc.

The original report on these springs was the progressive rate made normal driving more compliant while providing more stiffness when cornering. Have you found this to be true?

I just had these installed yesterday (Thanks goes out to sok07 for doing a good deal of the work) and so far I'm loving them. The drop looks better than I expected and the car feels great, although I really haven't had the chance to really test them out yet. However, from my initial impression of them, I'd definitely recommend these springs to anybody that is looking at them.

Are you on stock shocks? I'm wondering how these would do with some Koni Yellows?

Funny, I have been thinking of getting Koni Yellows, too. I need something to soak up bumps. The car has taken a few hard bumps (Not sure what it's called, but where the freeway and the freeway bridge meet? The transition?) and was wondering if better shocks would help.
