I bought some headers from "Capatin somethin or other"....I recieved them yesterday and their filled with carbon buildup. Now i know carbon build up is from them being used.Its a very thick coat. I need some advice i dont know what to do. This is all i can think about as i sit here at work ready to strangle somebody.

Yes, it is best to try to resolve conflicts with vendors through private means (PM, email, telephone) first. It could have simply been a mistake.

I'm going to assume that I am "captain something or another". As said above, I would prefer that I be contacted directly so that a problem can be resolved. Had I not read this thread, I would never have known there was a problem.
All of the headers I recieved from OBX were sealed in new boxes. I can email them and see what thier response is to this. The header we installed in the how-to on dosle's car did not have any carbon build up
