EGR block-off plate question...

ok i tried finding my answer but couldnt...when you put the block-off plate on does it stop the flow of coolant that comes out of it and into the turbo?

ya i had a blonde moment...i forgot about the egr pipe..lol anyone know the thread size for the pipe to completely remove it and put a plug in it?
