Editing "Home" location on GPS

Does anyone know how to edit the home location - I follow the manual and it states you can classify the category as preset destinations or home - unfortunately home is always grayed out. Any suggestions?

You may have missed a step. I was able to program the home location. I wish there was a way to upload locations to the Navi.

If you can remember the steps to program the home location can you post them? Sorry, but I went through it several times!

Do you already have some location set as Home? I already had mine set; but played with it a bit to see the behavior.

If a Home location is already set; then I could not convert a normal pinpoint to Home only to a preset (Home was greyed out). In this case the only way I could find to set home was to go to the home option main menu and manually move the location (no address entry, etc).

However, if the Home location is not set (you can delete it if it is already set) then I was able to convert a pinpoint location to home - the option was not greyed out.

I'd try deleting your existing home location and then converting a pinpoint.

Got it thanks! I was able to delete the home position and save an existing memory point as HOME..

I appreciate the feedback - One thing I must say is this GPS is not intuitive at all - my Garmin 260W puts this to shame.

Delete home location

Can you provide a step by step on deleting the Home location? My kids entered something bogus and I cannot get rid of it! (uhm)

Menu -> Address Book -> Memory Points/Home -> Delete -> hit "Change" a few times until the category changes to home; now select the home item to delete it.

Nowhere near intuitive; luckily I don't need the change my home location much
