Yeah I am aware the GHL is not produced anymore and I caught the sarcasm, but we can still discuss the pros and cons. And it's not like all the GHLs suddenly vaporized, they turn up every now and then.

No, it's an inferior design, so they've most definitely all vaporized.

Lol its a inferior design but yet it has a smoother radius bend coming off the turbo and it has a better merge point with less turbulance

No, Ryan, go look under your hood. You'll see that your GHL has vaporized and is no longer there. Because it's inferior.

I am sure both are fine with differences that would be too small to measure without all other variables controlled.

What I dislike about the design of the GHL is that the wastegate tube appears to be equal diameter to the turbine outlet, which doesn't seem ideal.

ill try to get this done as soon as i can hopefully before new years.

two of my flanges came in today just waiting on the flex pipe.

as you can see in the pick going to have to drill some holes bigger

Are you going to put the flex pipe right off the flange? I'd use an elbow to get the flange to the flex pipe as perpendicular to the ground as possible, then put the flex pipe between the elbow and the mid pipe. That would give the engine and the exhaust the greatest range of motion from each other.

Take lots of pics as this thing gets fabbed up.

well i got the flex pipe in went to the Muffler guy to see what he had for pipe bends he only has straights but will bend me one. Im not a fan of the bent pipe becuase it leaves a pinch so im just going to buy a 40 guage 90 buttweld for a better curve.

Is that normal for a muffler shop to not have bends? Yeah definitely don't pinch it off if you can avoid it. Keep up the good work.

well its not a known muffler shop so..it is what it is. I just use them because they give me pretty good rates especially if you pay in cash.
I will hopefully hit this up during the kids winter break. But yes Ill definitely take as many pics as i can.

I really wana see it fitted to the car. It looks so close in size to mine I might not have to have anything done

well heres some pics it a tight fit but ill update later gotta ride the bike to pick up the kids lol
