ebc brake noise

Anyone have noise or shaking problems with ebc "red stuff" brake pads?? I installed new front and rear rotors, and pads all around.

Only thing I can think of is I may have "tweaked" the caliper, so its not sitting properly. The front right side is the one that seems to be the issue.

It makes a "roar" noise only when I lightly press the brakes, and only in drive. There is a certain spot that I have to hold it at to make the noise. If I "slam" on the peddle, no noise.

Its getting really annoying, cause the point at which it makes the noise is my normal stopping rate! haha

best thing to do is to open up the front passenger sde and take a look..

Disassembled and re-installed. Same noise. I'm thinkin' that its just the ceramic "red stuff" brakes that are suppose to be used for hard track use, not daily slow stopping. I'm going to break them in for a few more days, if nothing changes I'll contact ebc for questioning.

If anyone has had any experience, or can confirm my hypothesis, please chime in. Thanks.

Did you bed the brakes after you installed them? That might be your problem.
