Ebay Turbo Kit

To be fair, I've seen more than a couple of crazy builds north of 500hp on the 2.0 MZR. That 0.3L doesn't mean much when you're running a big turbo at 20psi (or whatever those crazy puerto ricans are running). It's certainly no obstacle to making massive amounts of power, in fact I seem to recall reading that the shorter stroke of the 2.0 takes to big power builds better than the 2.3.

But, on topic... Those ebay turbo kits are for two types of people: a) People who have enough junkyard fab skills to get it cobbled together, but no money; or b) people who have the money to blow on a turbo kit but not enough common sense to do it right.

or some people wanna give the ebay turbo a run to see how id does(like my brother) his sucked and ****** up on him in 3 days, then he went and bout an 1800 dollar turbonetics. but ive met people that have run them for over 2 years no problems!

WTF would anyone boost a MZR.. 400HP FWD = fail.. no traction...

idiot post of the day!!!!! 400 hp on any bad tires=bad traction. put wide slicks or drag radials on anything then u get some grip but risk blowing lsd's and diffs or snapping axels!

ive owned a ebay turbo setup, and i will say that they are good for what they are worth. but if you do anything over 9-10lbs the turbo will go to s***. I ran on my mx3 on 5-6 lbs for almost 2 years. and had no problems. i had the wastegate relocated, and the manifold reinforced. But it lasted after that, if your just looking for a kit and nothing crazy, or something for a show. its fine.. but its def what you pay for..
