Man, that looks sweet! I got an SRI Ebay intake with a K&N. Got Yellow Couplers, unfortunately. But I love the snarl it puts out when accellerating...

I recommend the K&N filter instead of the junk ebay one. A lot better.

Yeah, I asked the seller but they don't have red couplers... so I'm gonna just find some on my own. It sounds pretty good... not as loud as a SRI for some reason, but it has a definite power growl to it...

I have one extra red one with "Injen" on it if you want.

Had to take it off when I put the bypass valve on, so it's just sitting on a shelf in my room.

Yeah, I took it off and basically "replaced" it with the AEM bypass valve. (Portland Winters are wet.....)

Anyhow, I'll let you have it for $5. (Since it'll be $2-$3 for shipping, you're only really paying $2 for it.)

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not going to perpetrate like if I actually had an Injen... and I don't want to put a sticker on my cheap $60 intake that works in the exact same way as it's $200 counterpart... but seriously, thanks!

hey Coqui258, i just got the ebay intake too. i was wondering what that black rubber clinder thing with the screw at both ends was for. and also where you mounted the sensors that are on the metal bar that originally was sticking in the stock tubing?

The CAI looks good too.

It stops the CAI from rubbing metal to metal in the inside... you attach it to that little metal piece sticking out the edge right before the filter tube going down... And the other piece you're talking about just got zip-tied somewhere else as long as it's level...

Hey the ebay cai is back on on ebay...I couldn't find one for a while and thought I was gonna have to dish out the cash for an injen! Phew...$44.95 later (+ shipping) and two days and my cai will be shipped! Yay! Can't wait...this thread and the other ebay cai thread made it all happen.
