E-Manage powered Mazdaspeed!

very nice turboge, im hopefully gonna have my exhuast and fmic done by january so i can hook up my e-manage...thanks for the updates...also do u recommend a wideband? also i was thinkin to just used the second bung on the exhuast for just a wideband or should i keep btoh sensors? i can just have a thrid bung welded on my custom exhuast when it gets done.....

jrodhotrod - Compared to the E6X it is no match. The e-manage is limited in what it can do, but at that, it can support most of the normal mods that people are using. With 10-12psi and the mods you will have I would suggest upgrading the injectors at that point.

AutoBox - I would recommend a wideband to any person that is going to modify air/fuel ratios on any vehicle. The 3rd bung will be needed on a custom exhaust. The stock downpipe has a wideband bung in it already.

Guys, what parts do I need for your set up? Do I need everything from Greedy including the supporting CD. I am ablout to order it.

to be able to use everything u need everything....get the support tool if u plan to tune with a laptop...

you will need :

E-manage unit
ignition harness
injector harness
Support tool v 1.11 preferably
Laptop

if using the e-01 no support tool needed, just the boost pressure sensor cable that goes from the emanage to the e-01 unit.

look here : www.mohdparts.com/emanage/

thats about it for large purchases
there are a few other nick knacls also but ill leave it up to braden to list them.

Speedy - Azian6er lists everything you will need if you want to tune the unit yourself. You will also need the pressure sensor, and pressure sensor harness. The e-01 can be used to program the e-manage if you do not have a laptop that is capable, however it lacks the better features of the software.

Logan - I would recommend it because it will allow you to fine tune ranges for vacuum and boost. Without the pressure sensor you will only be able to tune via TPS vs RPM.

turboge- as you know I know very little about tuning the e-manage. What do I have to do to get it fully function. pls help!!!

Update: 12-17-03

I am going to allow you guys to have access to the installation guide that I have created for the E-Manage system on a USDM Mazda FS motor. I do not authorize anyone to use this in any form other than personal use on their own car. If you want to use the information within this guide for any type of sale you will need to contact me via e-mail first. I am not responsible for any harm done to your car because of this guide and will accept zero liability for any damages.

With that said, please enjoy what I have taken time and effort to create for you. It is the first draft, I will be adding pictures of the install at a later point in time. The File is 475kb.

Download it here

I hope you all realize how much effort, time and expertise it took Turboge to do what he has done.

He is definately not a typical MSP owner... :) (cheap shot)

Also for those non-MSP guys, since I no longer own or operate a business I can offer anyone mp3 maps for free:D

Just pm me and I can send you maps fuel/timing maps

note:I will not take any responsibility if you blow your car up with the emanage or my maps

One question I have, can I wire in a SAFC or SAFC2 using that diagram for the MAF. I could wire in the resistor without issue. I just am wondering if that will work ok. I've got the old one and new one sitting next to me. I don't want to cut up my ecu harness yet to try it, I may end up having to though.
