Many Public Health Psysicians and Tobacco Researchers are exposing the misleading reports submitted by the FDA. A Group of Doctors with knowledge of tobacco and Tobacco reduction are challenging the FDA about the claims of the E-Cigarette and the incomplete reports and tests submitted. Through Biased scientific data they have Demonized the product which Through there own research has proven reduce serious health issues among traditional tobacco smokers.
There Claims? Glad you asked In small samples a Toxic Chemical was found called nitrosamines. Or so they say. This chemical is also found in Nicoderm CQ, Nicorette Gum, Beer, And not to be left out. Bacon all with equal or More of this chemical then the E-cigarette.

reading that hurt my head...spelling, grammar and punctuation fail.

That said, it's in vogue right now more than ever to demonize corporations and products instead of holding people responsible for their choices. Plus, states get fat on vice taxes, so it's a win for everyone except the consumer who pays more for free choice. The way we're headed, there soon won't be such a thing at all...

I can tell you I work in the tobacco industry, and that all this is, is the FDA and the Govt' bending to lobbyists from P.M. Seems as of late P.M. has the Govt' in their pockets.

Look at the new FDA tobacco bill. Written by P.M. The FDA plans to reduce nicotine levels in cigarettes. Do you think this is for our health? Absolutely not. They are lowering nicotine levels as a way to increase tax revenue. If you can only get half your nicotine intake from a single pack of cigarettes you are going to smoke twice as much to reach that intake level.

So essentially smokers will smoke twice as much, and the Govt' will bring in twice as much revenue.

Think about this, the total embedded taxes on a carton of cigarettes (Avg.) is somewhere around $20/carton. One of the Govt' biggest revenue generators. Supposedly if the Govt' was to quit receiving tax revenue from big tobacco they would run out of money in months. Pretty good reasoning to get rid of the E-cig, and bow to the mighty Phillip Morris, and R.J. Reynolds.

Not only that, but the FDA tobacco bill also restricts competition. It bans all flavored tobacco, clove cigarettes included, but curiously allows one flavor -- menthol. What's the one flavor that Phillip Morris produces? Yup, menthol. The companies who make flavored tobacco are generally small companies, and they will be driven out of business because of this bill. But the larger companies will receive some of their business. Indonesia, which supplies 99% of the supply of clove cigarettes to the United States, has launched a campaign with the WTO to overturn the new bill because of the anti-competition aspects of it.

Good point. Also, the new bill will restrict "new" tobacco manufacturers from joining the MSA list, and the Non-MSA list of tobacco manufacturers. Meaning no new cigarette company that is currently not on the list will be able to get approval to sell. That is clearly against the law.
