Hey guys, pulled my e-brake the other day and it snapped on me. With winter setting in I need to fix this ASAP. Got a few questions. 1. I was told an e-brake is split into 3 parts, is this true? 2. I pulled my center counsel and I don't see any brakes in the cable near the handle, what/where do I look next? I would like to do this myself and I have a lift and a good.amount of tools to use but would I save myself headaches by just taking it in?
Not sure if it matters but the break came from me tightening the cable down just a little bit here and there. I never did it a lot but I assume over time it added up and it finally snapped. Let me no if I forgot anything and any help is appreciated.
