Dyno today..

I did mine yesterday.
Averaged out at 238.14/250.96 from 5 runs.
first run was 252/264 and first run w/ fan on TMIC was242/264.

time for mods :D

about right considering drivetrain loss and some heatsoak. mine was 225/255 stock with fan blowing on radiator not intercooler. good baseline to start your mods. with cobb sri, it went up to 235/270 with 20-30hp/tq gain at 3250 rpm. with cobb sri and fan on tmic and letting engine cool for 15 mins, it dynoed at 250/285.

nice numbers... go with a motormount upgrade so that your MS3 can put that power to the ground with ease.

So a motor mount makes that much of a difference compaired to the stock motor mount?

when talking about the rear one specifically, the answer is yes. I installed the AWR 70 durometer rear mount last friday and the difference is pretty substantial; the car feels 'tighter'...not sure how else to state it. it really is worth the minor investment.

that or inserts (corksport) will make the car feel much stronger or stiffer in the shifting, as opposed to sloppy like the stock one where the engine rocks around like crazy. For the cheap price its worth it for sure

yes.

It's very noticable.... you'll no longer feel the rubber band effect under hard accelerating... instead it'll take off as if on a catapault... kinda like that superman returns ride at six flags here in california...lol you'll love it!

check out the how to section for the HOW to install TRZ dog bone motormount. tons of people lovin it... =)

protegegarage.com shope no where else. great to deal with very competitve pricing. i suggest the trz poly (if its a dd) seems to be the most popular and i love it

trz is the cheapest... whys that? I'll just look into the forums to see what people recommend for strength.

Our cars are so poorly tuned. The guy just emailed me my dyno chart from Saturday, and I didn't realized how jumpy it was until now. There was a guy with us that has a supercharged SI and his graph was almost a perfect arch, and I'm jealous. :D.
