Dude where`s my car?

First just a little about myself. I am 18 and have ordered my dream car: a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege from Jarman Mazda in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have been asking the manager Brant about this car since July ( about a month after I started leasing a 2002 Protege ES) At first he told me begining of Oct. then on and on untill now. but i geuss good things r worth waiting for. I was woundering how many people were told the same thing and forced to wait. Also does anyone has any inside info on how long untill all Mazdaspeeds are released into Canada. Also does anyone have any complaints about there Mazdaspeeds? Sorry if these questions have been asked before but i just found this site and registred.

I don't know where your MAZDASPEED is, but it will be worth the wait. It's a fabulous sports sedan, and unique. I have had mine 3 weeks now (1,500 miles). I basically bought mine off the showroom floor - so no waiting.

Issues? Well, guess what? All new cars generally have an issue or two. That's to be expected. Mine has been fine, with the exception of a scratched steering wheel emblem. They will correct that. The Kenwood Sound System, I would venture to bet, is one of the very best available in any production car without any upgrades.

I love it!

Now...... How does an 18 year old afford a $20,500 (US dollars) sports sedan? If I may be so bold??!!

Cheers!

Hello Mazdaspeed Boy and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!! (stash)

(lol) The famous Sir Nuke Welcome! (lol)
Do you have that saved somewhere? Or do you type it all over again whenever there is a new member?

when i was 18 i bought my Wolfsburg Edition Jetta brand new. 19k. it's called working your ass off in my case (while also maintaining a 12hour school load), i also happened to have it paid off in less then a year.

i'll be paying for the MSP in cash assuming i get one. dont automaticaly assume that everyone is taking a handout from mommy and daddy. :D

I remeber seeing the Wolfsburg Ed. Jetta at the autoshow a few years back. First Jetta I saw with 17's. It had a gorgeous blue paint (don't know the name). I really liked it. I think it stickered for around $27k (Canadian).
