when u use a piggy back the dsc button will work? is the traction control gone after u do something like that?
I dont know but Im thinking not with a piggy back.Cobbs probably will since it controls the ECU but Im not sure.

the XEDE does not 'mess' with the computer.

It intercepts signals from various sensors on the car and modifies them before the signals get to the ECU.
=mess.

this may sound like a really stupic Q, but. does having the DSC on take away from the power? and does that 20 second hold down trick work on the MS6 as well?

dsc just regulates things when u burnout like in launches and stuf...ive launched many of times and 1st-2nd the car stalls for a second because fuel cut and turbo cut i guess....without it i usualy sit in one spot and burnout...u just have to learn how to manipulate the rpm and shift points on ur car for the dsc to work perfect when u race

This is not the case in my car. If I turn DSC off, I can smoke the tires through 1st and 2nd without any fuel cut or turbo pressure drop.

Hey gents, be careful. Comments like this get forums shut down so for respect to others and the ladies that subscribe, PM each other if need be. Please don't come back with some smart remark either... (cool)

to get back on topic, will the 20 second hold down of the DCS work on the MS6? i tried while the car was on and there was no difference. do i do it when the car is off and then turn it on?

Either hold the button on with the iginition off and hold it while starting the car, or push and hold within a couple of seconds of starting - I find the first easier. You should get the DSC off light and traction control light (little skidding car) staying on.

all i get is a light that sais "DSC Off"

ill try the first one like you said... thankx

i tried the first one today...much better acceleration 1-3....feels nice thanks...o yea and if you have the car using the dsc and ur moving, put the car in neutral...start the car holding the buttom and its off jsut make sure u wont crash cuz u dont have power steering......i also did it from a stand still.

On the MS6, when you press the DSC off switch, it seems to go completly off. I did some tests this winter to confirm.
