Drunk driver slammed my MSP!!!

Well, my car is no longer officially new. It took 2 weeks from the date of purchase, but somebody finally defiled my car. Some drunk b!+c# decided to play parking lot pinball. My car was one of 6 damaged before she even left the parking lot. I cringe to think of what the ***** did once she got on the surface streets. My car was actually hit by another car that she slammed into. She slammed 2 cars over a grass median in a PARKING LOT. How she got going fast enough to do that with 10 feet of acceleration room I do not know.

I can't BELIEVE some people still think that drinking and driving is perfectly safe. Hell, some morons even brag about how drunk they were when they drove home.

I just wish there was a smiley that properly conveyed how angry I am right now.

It certainly could have been worse. Fortunately, nobody was hurt...BEFORE she left the parking lot. By the time the cops left, they still hadn't found her, so there's no telling what happened after she left. The car she knocked into mine is a LOT worse off than me. We're pretty sure it's totalled. It's just a kick in the nuts when something you JUST BOUGHT and work your a$$ off for gets screwed up by some drunk *****.

hopefully she has insurance so you dont get screwed. from the pic shouldn't cost more than $2500, unless you have chassis damage, but it still sux.

had my car for three days and some hillbillie mo-fo backs into the front of my car in a parking lot-- dented the hood at the lip and chipped a dime-sized piece off the fnt bumper and he got off because of no insurance. no witnesses so it was my word against his.

I agree. I just hope nobody gets hurt before she stops. Her boyfriend showed up about 30 minutes after it happened. He said he got a call from her friend saying that she was drunk and planning on driving. I saw the car she was driving, and he verified it was her. The cops were there for over an hour, and still hadn't found her, so hopefully the parking lot sobered her up enough to avoid killing anyone.

This reminds me of a time at college where a drunk student tried to park his car in the one of the parking decks.

He totaled 5 cars and damaged another dozen, and then continued to park his car like nothing had happened.

How in the hell can you be so drunk you don't even realize you've just hit 17 cars!?!?!

Reminds me of a couple of years back when a bud of mine and me spent well over 200 hours restoring a 70' 302 BOSS, which I found in a junk yard in Conway, S.C. I was dropping off one of my buds at his job, when I got hit by this drunk b**** in a crappy old sentra, on the shotgun side. She hit with such a force that she bent the frame, cracked the block, and entrapped me in my car for 1 hour!!!! They literally had to cut me out of the car!!! I sustained three cracked ribs and major whiplash. And all she got was a bruised fore head!:wtf:

The cops told me that she was 3 times over the limit and had no license and no insurance.

drunks who drive suck and should be hit with a suspended license for 2 yrs and a $1000 fine as well as the loss of their car... end of discussion... and if they are caught driving while drunk again during suspension or afterwards, it is the total revokement of their license til they r dead... plain, simple, easy...

I can relate. I was hit by a drunk at a red light in my 70.5 Camaro which had new quarters and fenders, fibreglass L-88 hood w/3" cowl, and had completely redone the interior and rebuilt the 350. Although her car merely bent the "roll pan" and scratched the bumper, I freaked. Can't imagine if it had the damage yours did......of course, i later did that myself.

UPDATE

Well, the police caught the woman that played demolition derby in my parking lot. She was charged with DWI, expired registration, expired inspection, 5 counts of hit and run, and NOL. Anybody know what NOL means?

Good news is, according to the police report, they've got no reason to believe she hurt anybody or damaged any other property after she left our parking lot.

Oh, AND she is insured. WOOT!
