Dropped something in the transmission! Help!

You were able to find manual transmission fluid at Canadian Tire? Every time I've looked there was only automatic.

Yeah, gold bottle labelled 75w90 gear oil, away from the engine oil at my local CT, but in the same aisle. I first asked one guy and he said he's never heard of manual transmission fluid, but he asked another guy and found out it was the gear oil. The guy told me that you don't ever need to change your transmission fluid under normal circumstances. I guess it's just that different cars have different requirements?

Try and get to a mechanic to ask those questions. Try and get synthetic gearoil for the trans. You will love it in the winter. Make sure you get the recommended weight in the maintenance manual.
You could problably phone your dealer parts deptartment to get the right answers.
