Drop it, drop it low girl!!

yes sure do swede as you have already found out lol... Why you ask? Its been about 2 weeks now and the ride is the same still doing real good I have nothing bad to say =)

Cuz im probably going to be getting springs within the next two weeks or so. wanted to see how everythings been holding up and to see if there was anything else that id need instead of just the springs. Never changed springs before so its going to be a 12 hour adventure for me probably.

What springs are you getting? good luck! Wish I could help you on it knowing what I know now I probably could have cut my time down a lot just prepare yourself for unwanted problems lol... It happens keep me posted =)

Sames ones you got. Eibach Sportlines. just want my ride a little closer to the ground :P and ill keep you updated no worries. pics will be up after its done :)

Im with you I want my ride a lil closer to the ground too I might switch to coils after depending on how my spacers run. Im wanting 10mm in the rear I know I will have to roll my finders but if I was to have coils with my spacers I might run in to larger problems. How are you going to get your car lower then what the sportlines will giver you? are you going to cut your springs?

Leslie, you shouldn't have a problem with 10mm spaces, there shouldn't be a need to roll the fenders, i had 8mm on mine for a while and had no issues at all.

Nope im not going to drop it that low. I don't want it on the ground. (yet) i have to look as see how they look when its said and done.

Really? Everyone tells me different. I'm so close to hitting the finder already and I'm scared it will rub on my rim and I'm for sure it will when I put on my winter rims? Eh I'm so confused lol but what was the tire and wheel status you were running?

watch yourself on full lock turns with any potholes/bumps. if you go fast enough your fronts will rub. I'm on Pro-kit and so far that's the only way I had any rubbing issues. I wasn't going fast at all.. just pulling out of a parking spot.

@ MazdaSwede GL on your install! spring compressor, pb blaster, and air tools makes it so much easier! heh.

Yes they certain;y do. unfortunaetly i don't own any of the above mentioned items. will have to get the spring compressor regardless. any idea what one runs for?

You can rent the tool from autozone. You pay a deposit, they rent you the tool, you bring it back, you get your deposit back. :)

i was running 235/45/17x7.5 with the same springs you have with 8mm spacers all the way around, i had no problem rubbing, i mean, if i took a corner like "REALLY" fast then the rear might have rubber a little but it wasnt enough to really do any damage. What are you running for tire n wheel?

Thats what I did I rented the compressor from autozone. Make sure they give you the right one tho I got all the way home and saw they gave me the wrong one!

Im running 215/45/18x8

you might have a problem but you might not, thats hard to say. especially that your on 18x8's you might rub, but if you get your fenders rolled that should help out a lot.

Yeah I prob should just do it to be on the safe side because if it dont hit with the wheel straight it might hit when im turning?

like i said you might you might not, I highly doubt you will, all you can do is put them on ride around the block take a few turns really fast and see what happens, if you rub then take em off and get your fenders rolled then put them back on, if you dont then your in good hands :)

What is the off-set on your wheels? That will also make a difference.

going to hold off on ordering my springs for now. I will be getting my short shifter done and out of the way first. plus when i get the springs im also going to be painting my calipers and hopefully my wheels if i have the time. I will only have about two days in order to get this all done so ts going to be cutting it all close. I may have to call in some backup for this. So short shifter for this months major mod. Julys will be wheels calipers and springs. Augusts will hopefully be my CAI and by september i should have my Exhaust(still haven't pickd one yet).
