More than likely I'll be there. I'm planning on going up with a couple of friends of mine...kind of a little internal comp. Everything is kind of tenative right now till I get some firm oks, hopefully I'll know by the weekend for sure or not

I planned on attending the Saturday meet, still working with other members on getting it so we are all there at the same times.

cool deal, it'd be cool to know that there were a lot people I've talked to already goin up. Lemme know what time everyone is gonna meet up.

Ok.

in fact if you are planning on going email me at

lilfig@555th.org

that way we can share info on times easily with everyone else.

The Boston, MA meet is right down the street from me!! Anyone planning on going to the July event at Gillette Stadium?

Also like to before we go to the DC meet to atleast meet with everyone.

Plus when Summit Raceway opens up I'm going, and it be great to get other Protege owners to come out. You get to take your own car out on the track etc. And there are instructors who can go out with you. Give everyone some learning experiance etc.

All signed up!!

Me and 3 friends (non-Mazda owners:wtf:-although one has a WRX) signed up for the NYC one on 8/2. It's still a long time away but who knows how fast it'll fill up.

chuyler1 , I wish I could make it to the Boston one since it's not that far away from me in CT either, but I'm probably going to be out of the country then (Brazil!!).

So yeah, anyone else in the area signing up for NYC on 8/2, let me know. Us 4 are all in group 13. I'll be there with my hopefully-by-then-modded yellow P5!!

I'm guessing the 6s we're driving will be auto?

I wish it wasn't so, but from the tone of the website, if anyone can participate, it must be an auto. :(

Hopefully its the S model and not the i.

Cant see the site at work so cant double check on what it said.

But the auto is a sport mode, so you have the ability to select gears. Which is quite handy since I got that with my P5, doesnt allow you the same flexability with a manual but least is better than a full auto.

I don't know, if they're smart they'll have both...but at least there will be the sport shift...i forgot about that.

Im going to DC on the 26th of July(Group 25).......... oh so far away:(
Instruction time is what sold me. They could have said "come drive an MPV around" and I still would of went. Guess Im just crazy!?(freak)

Now that would be fun....load up the back w/ groceries...make it to the other end of the track w/o spilling the milk or cracking the eggs, unload, then repeat.

Winner gets the 'Soccer Mom of the Day' trophey.

LOL!

Already went to the dealer to take measurements of the back deck. Going to make a rig to mount a video camera on that would be easy to place in the car, remove, and place later.

WOOT video!
