Hey guys. New to the forum with a 2009 Mazda 5. We got this from my gf's ex and now I'm sifting through the mid-fixed death trap lol. Had a horrible front end wobble which I corrected quite a bit by having the front rotors turned and new brakes installed but upon doing this I found the front drivers side so off camber it was wearing directly on the inside of the drivers side tire. A new tire wore past the belts so I could only imagine how long it has left before it exploded down the highway.
So I immediately took the car in for alignment in which they told me the passengers side was fine but drivers side was another story. We have since found this vehicle has been wrecked and not fixed so hence the issues. However my question is...
Is there a way I can check to see if the strut is bent?
Also is it next likely to be the steering knuckle that's bent?
(Not sure if that's the proper name for what holds the wheel hub and all)
Well any insight as to what I should replace here would be great. Also where do you guys prefer to get these parts at?
Thanks a ton
