drivers seat belt

my seat belt appears to be sticking open or closed i know its cold out here in md but even with the heat on for a time, it still sticks when im getting out of the car. anyone else had this problem? when getting in it dosent lock or its hard to get it to go in. also once locked in, the seat belt light stays on. any ideas??

I've never had that problem but it does sound like the buckle part on the seat is messed up.

be very careful, mine did the same thing, then it trapped me in the car, it eventually broke on me... now i need to get it replaced for 200

It's a freaking bolt that holds it in. You can do it yourself, not that difficult. If you can buy the driver's side seatbelt, unbolt your seat and slide it forward or back, whichever way gives you more access to the bolt, then take the bolt off, then the buckle, replace with the new one, and you're done. No reason it would cost you $200 unless you just want to pay that and not do it yourself.
