What idiots. Thank goodness the lady in the car that hit them was okay....

What a dumbass.

1) Drifting on the streets is straight up stupid

2) If it's FWD, you can't drift it so don't even try.

All i can think of when i see s*** like this is why did the assholes have to survive...Darwin should have taken effect here...poor woman having to deal with idiots like this. glad shes ok, not so glad the idiot guy that tried drifting on public roads is ok for the most part. *requests 10+years in the joint for this idiot*

honestly, yeah, he was being stupid, but something tells me he wasn't trying to drift. I think this may be a case of whoever wrote the article/filed the report not knowing much about car culture and just assuming that whatever he was doing was drifting. The fact that the article references 3 fast 3 furious is a big tip off to that. Either way, he was doing something dumb. Maybe a burnout gone wrong or something? I wouldn't be surprised if he was just driving too fast and lost control, meanwhile the media spins it into him doing trick driving just because it's a hot button right now.

That being said, no matter what stupid trick he was trying to pull off to impress the others in the car or to get his rocks off was just that...stupid...keep in on a closed course or a track.

yeah the comments were pretty stupid.

now i know what the people of my community think when they see my driving around.

"look another one of them drifting hooligans"

I'm a big fan of people seeing lowered cars with aftermarket exhausts and loud BOV's always thinking we're racing our cars on the streets and highways and weaving in and out of traffic. My cougar was louder than hell and I had several people yell at me thinking i was flooring it at every intersection.

oh well...same people b**** and moan about me blasting In Flames or Iced Earth lol

oh, and I completely agree. I'm just saying, labeling what he was doing as "drifting" is bad for a young sport trying to become legitimate in the public eye when in all actuality he was more than likely just driving like a jackass, not drifting.
