I doubt anybody will be there with a digital camera....However I will probably get video taped by VHS again. If I knew someone that could convert VHS to a digital image I would have plenty of videos.

not bad dood, i saw you out there last night. traction was a b**** with the cold concrete. I pulled a 13.9@98mph with a 2.0 60' full interior. it felt like my slowest run car bogged out bad @ the end. All my other traps were 100mph. I need bigger injectors. Wish more mazdas showed ):
get some tire though dood, you get that 60' down and you can see 13s, do you let off the gas in between shifts?

some of them have scanned timeslips ... i dont think anybody have videos, except maybe one or two. I didnt bother scanning mine because 14.3 isnt that impressive ... id like to hit at least 14 flat this year or maybe hit the 13s (which might be done on sunday) at which point, i will take pictures of timeslips or maybe even take a video if i can find a camera.
to answer your other question ... some people have blew up their engine with as low as 9psi i think. so i guess it depends if you're lucky or not. At one point, i had a vacuum problem that made my boost spike really high and pulse all the time. it would spike at about 15psi then go up and down between 8 and 10psi. I had an FCD that weekend (that's when i did a 14.3) and nothing happened. Focus' electronic boost controller fried, so he used a small manual controller which are known to spike often. His would peak at maybe 12 or 13psi and then drop around 9psi, but on his last run, it spiked at 17 and the rod bent.
you shouldnt go over 10psi on a stock engine just to stay safe (unless you take proper precautions). and if you can deal with fuel cut, don't use an FCD because its probably the only thing that can save your engine cuz s*** happens.

our ECUs are set to cut ignition when a certain amount of air is coming in. once it goes over that limit, it cuts ignition. the FCD intercepts that voltage signal and modifies it so the ECU doesn't know more air is coming in. The higher the voltage the more air is coming in, the more fuel the ECU sends into the engine ... when you block that voltage, the ECU will keep sending the same amount of fuel even if you're boosting 20psi ... and that's when the engine goes boom. unless you have a piggyback or something else to control fuel

got a 14.4 @97 now Injen cai custom 3in exhaust downpipe back, and EBC set at 9psi.

Well first off my computer is down at home.
Second off, I didn't get into the twelves. I would have but the #4 connecting rod decided it didn't like itself anymore and commited suicide. That would have been fine and dandy but it decided it didn't like the block, starter, or turbo and decided to take them out on its way out.
However I did manage to get 11 runs in before it decided it didn't like itself. Maybe that had something to do with it.
Best et. was 13.15 @ 105.4mph
Best 60' was 2.067
Both were done at 13psi.
