MAM

I'd go just a mid pipe, like the MAM or custome if you don't want cats. I went Corksport S/J to custom midpipe back exhaut but my buddy did the MAM mid pipe and that's all, I wasn't trying to get a lot more power I'd get that catted mid pipe.

Yeah I agree but my wallet doesn't. It actually hates you for bringing it up. LOL

j pipe is the midpipe....

on a side note, my apex catted j-pipe is en route to me TODAY!!!! (first)

guess who's gonna have a picture thread by sunday?

So is the S pipe the downpipe that just goes from the turbo down to the J pipe? Since i already have a midpipe i will just need a S pipe correct?

i bought sweetlou69's downpipe but my plans have changed so now i have it up for sale $500 shipped (regularly around $700) in mint condition, only 2000 miles on it, this is the best downpipe you could get for your car, pm me!

Okay, just to clear up the confusion.

The S-pipe connects to the turbo outlet and heads downwards. Here's where it gets confusing.

The stock setup has the J-pipe and midpipe as one piece, usually referred to as the downpipe. The Apex downpipe is also the mid and J- pipes as one piece. MAM has a separate J-pipe and a separate mid-pipe, so the piece after the S-pipe is actually 2 pieces in the MAM setup.

If you have the MAM midpipe and want to clear up the exhaust flow more, you'll need both the S & J-pipes. If you have the Apex downpipe, you'll only need the S-pipe.

Hope that helps.
