Wow, I took the time to download the new Need For Speed: Underground demo at www.needforspeed.com and boy was I impressed. This game is so bad ass. In the demo you can only drag or circuit race on one course, but man the graphics are nice, and the cars look and act superb! You can only run a 350Z in the demo, but still DAMN. Check it out.

What about driving realism? Need for Speed Porsche was awsome, best NFS game ever.. then the next that followed totaly sucked. No Realism, Crappy Replays etc..

the realism is really great, at least from what I can see. It even offers drag and cicuit modes, and I gotta say that when I first raced in drag mode, I actually got an adrenaline rush. The sounds, the way the car reacts and shakes, everything...not to mention that in this mode of play, hitting anything-and I do mean ANYTHING- causes you to lose. Its very realistic becuase if you were really to hit anything at 150mph, youre screwed. My only big problem that i see from the demo is no visual damage. You hit something, you wreck, the car looks the same. Bummer.

Hey now, not realistic as in when the car wrecks you bleed, but as for graphics and other stuff(i.e., car reactions, speed thrills, etc.) it does a pretty good job. It IS only a game though.

the car physics suck

NFS porsche unleashed was one of my fav. too. And this is nothing like that. It's so much like an arcade racer, I feel like need to put quarters in my PC

It's isn't that bad though...worth a few laughs. Just not realistic at all. It's more about dressing up a car.....or should I say rice'ing er up, then it is an actual driving game.

want realistic take up a licensed formula 1 game. those things beats GT (any version) hands down in terms of realism, and their learning curves are up there.

Well i just d/l'ed NFS Underground so i'll go check it out... i hope its better than Hot Pursuit at least.. got that was a pathetic game.

And F1 games are cool , i think it was F1 2003 by EA sports i tough it was AWESOME with my racing wheel... it felt so real, especially with all assists off, needed to be real carefull with brakes, gas, wheel etc.. i think i'll reinstall it

I also love Nascar games, esp. on the net. Nothing beats being 3 cars wide on the daytona track .. slightest mistake means all 3 cars in the wall!

if you want realism dont get the game, this game has an arcade feel to it. if you want realism wait for gt4

yeah I played this game awhile back, about as realistic as midnight club 2....wait for gt4 or get gt3 and enjoy

i just read the review for it in import tuner...lots of cars and lots of parts. even drifting ! no MSP or protege for that matter...i'm gonna have to get a copy from my friend and try it out

realism with joypads = no realism. even tough i loved GT i never got to try it with a wheel... so i'll stick with my computer games.

yes car realism in NFS underground is not good... it is kinda arcade like, does not handle like GT3....

but the nice thing is when you crash in the drag race the goto slow mo and TOTALLED!!!!! ahhahahhahaha
i like that part the best....

WTF there's no "race replay" in the computer version???? er.. i want to see a replay of my whole race.. Argh. is it me that hasn't seen the option?
