Down pipe & cat eliminator Group Buy!

A downpipe would not raise our boost. The wastegate is set to open at a certain PSI, you might spike to 7 7.5 PSI tops, but only for a milisecond. With An FMIC you will see boost drop. you will keep about 90-95% of your preset boost, but the extra cooling of the charge air more then makes up for that.

As far as staying smog legal, again, you only need to be smog legal when its sniffer time. Unless your state has random roadside checks, at that time, IIRC, it would be a fix it ticket. Meaning, you get 5 days to fix the fault, or you get the fine from the ticket.

it can create faster spool up though;)

Man this sucks do you think they will be able to make this DP later?? I just dont have the cash now.

Hey what would be the advantage of the thermocoated one? Do i need this? If i dont i could afford the regular one alot easier but im just not sure what to get. Thanks

I would recommend the thermal coated pipes for they help improve exhaust flow and will have a longer life and yes these pipes will be available later but they are trying to determine how well these will sell and that will determine their availability. The pricing will go up after this initial order though.:)

what i want is a system like this that includes a bolt on high flow cat and a bolt on test pipe. now that would be very ideal.

Dude I dont care ill just swap them its bolt on so it wont take all that long, I also want a little bit deaper and louder exhaust note from the car and this should help. By the way any sound clips with this beast on the MSP? Thanks

BlackMSP...a test pipe is a straight thru pipe that goes in place of the catalytic convertor.

Just to let you guys know this pipe alters the exhaust note a very small amount(almost un noticable)W/ the stock muffler on.It is un tested W/ a different muffler set -up though:)

yup, thats why i want a cat back with bolt up test pipe. that way i can be smog legal when i want to be, and not when i dont want to be(races and stuff).

I'm looking for a setup that includes a high flow cat. The added emissions are not worth 10HP to me. Cats are important, and the air I breathe is more valuable than .2 seconds in the 1/4 mile.

Haha the air is bad already from all those other cars running like crap and everything already. Since the test pipe only takes an hour max to replce its well worth the money. Oh well everyone to his/her own opion. Later guys

i'd do it but im like the rest short notice, i cant do it now i got my first payment comming up on my car so i gotta pay that so it'd be a month b4 i got the money. unless i can swing a loan from the parental units for a month ;) hehe. but i doubt it.

Dude that is what I did, I just sweet talked my mom into 300 dollars for the thermal coated downpipe, hopefully she will still go threw with it tommorow morning (be in a good mood) haha. She knows I can pay her back though its all good. Good Luck

yeah thats how it is with my parental units but i dunno man, i think i'll pass on this buy let some ppl get it see how they like it get some reviews on it b4 i decide.
