Does your woman complain about you and your car???

If only it were that easy. I almost picked up Espelirs in December from Rishie ($170 shipped!)....her response "GO AHEAD, DO IT" All the married guys out there will know what I mean. Maybe I can convince her that a lower car will get better MPG!!! haha

Just tell her being lower to the ground will help the air flow resulting in better gas mileage.

My wife usually gives me crap for doing stuff to my newer cars but seems to have no problem if I'm spending money on the 58. (shrug)

My wife is totally understandable...I approached her the other day..Actually wanting her to talk me down from splurging on a full turbo conversion...talking about 4 grand...I was expecting she'd call me an idiot, and that it'd be a waste, but instead, she was like..."You know you enjoy your car and working on it. So if you want to go ahead...."

I was like ?????...huh...Then my own reasoning came into play and I decided it was a poor financial decision...

im no engineer, but that one might not get through....
....but I know it wont fly. Ah well, it saves me money, because if I do drop it while on 16's it will only make me want to get 17's.

LOL It was just a suggestion.....I know it sounded dumb but you never know what people will believe.

You are supposed to ask them what they think before you buy? Guess I missed that memo. Been married seven years, eight in August and all I ask is if she can make sure she is home to sign for the package. She trusts that I am considering all financial factors.

i gotta say that not having a gf is easier on the wallet, frees up some extra cash for car spending...

what REALLY hurts the wallet tho, having friends that are also into cars. Every time we are bored he comes up with new ways for me to spend my money haha

haha if they found the 'right girl' they would both be broke cause they would both spend too damn much money on their cars.

So if I meet the right girl, I can mod my car, still have money, have a happy wife, and a girlfriend...

That does sound just about right.

What you need to do is find your "car" friend a girlfriend. That way, you still have your own money and she keeps him too busy to spend your money!

Problem solved. No charge.

The right girl is whatever you guys think it should be.

To me the right guy is someone like my husband. He wants to mod his car GREAT....mine is next then. And always always asks first before buying. To verify the funds are there. :)
