My wife helped me install my supercharger on the mustang, regularly helps me change the belt (2 person job with that mofo on there) and knows better than to park it near anyone if she ever takes it to work to show it off which she does upon occassion. I've caught her taking corners sideways, and she tells me about the shennegans she's up to when I'm not in the cars. The day we got the speed3 she took the on ramp at about 100 mph, lol, I had to tell her to slow down. I guess she likes the performance.

My wife gives me hell only when it she feels it takes away from "her time." She used to say that "cars should be seen and not heard" but now she can hear the difference in the exhause note of a 4.6 mustang and a 5.0...go figure. She claims that I have rubbed off on her, but now I chalk it up to jealousy.

Only that every 18 months to a year I end up in the drive with a new car for no apparent reason.
I do that alot.
She knows that I would never do anything with a car that would put us at risk financialy so she doesnt worry about. Just rolls her eyes and laughs.
From current to first car (26-16)

The Tundra made her eyes bug out of her head.
She wanted me to keep the STi so the 6s was a downer for her
The STi was funny becuase she thought that it was my MP3.
The P5 she wanted to know why I would buy a wagon
The MP3 She fell in love with like I did instanly.
The MX-6 she was exited about
The integra got me laid for the first time.
The '83' K5 blazer leaked oil in her driveway so that wasnt appreciated.
The Dodge ram scared her.


Since the MP3 I have not modded a car at all other then steroe stuff that I had laying around or got at a major discount.

My wife is right in the middle, She doesn't complain about the time I spend on my cars or the fourms. But she will b**** about any money i spend for mods. I think I really made a mistake when I got the MS3, I traded my Focus in that had around $5K in mods, in her eyes all that money was now wasted. I talked to her about the CAI for the MS3... Lets just say I need to wait a while longer before I start moding this car. LOL Of course I have only had the car for three days.

It's been about 6 years since I had a car worth talking about (we had kids so I had to get rid of Teg) now that my kids are older the MS3 was a perfect fit and I can't stop messing with it (and I haven't even started modding it yet lol). And my kids love it.
