I'm doing a grounding job on my car right now, does this grounding spot for the starter and alternator(I believe) need to be grounded to the body or is it just a grounding point for the starter and alternator? Pic shows it, its just a crappy pic, its on the fuse box, not the positive point.

Back when I did ground kits for friends in college, I ran one main wire out of the way from everything (one side of engine bay to the other both connected to either body and/or battery terminal) and from there ran separate ground wires cut to length, and again out of the way to every part that utilized electricity on the car. If I didn't run a backbone wire, I would go directly to the nearest frame point as that will always net the best grounding spot for anything.

Thanks for the info, I converted my battery into my trunk a while back and now im just trying to ground everything the best it can be. Don't really know if the alternator and starter need to be grounded to the grounding point in the pic or If I can run wires to the battery.

You could run to the battery, but when it comes to electrical wiring the shortest distance is always best, so as long as it is grounded to the body at the closest point you should be good.
