Does this guy know nothing?

Ok, so i had a problem with my headlight. Some of u may remember me posting asking about it. Anyway, the headlight came unbaked from the housing. About a week ago, another problem arose. When i step on my gas and get above about 5.5k rpms i start to smell a burnt smell. Its smells sorta like some kind of burnt metal. I also hear a faint clicking sound at this same time. Im not sure if the two are related but the burning smell is my main concern. So, i bring my car in and tell the tech about the headlight and the smell @ high rpms. He brings back my car about an hour later and says that he ordered me 2 new headlight to replace the one i have. I say ok so what about the burnt smell @ high rpms. He says "Well at that kind of rpms the car is under alot of stress. That smell is somewhat normal and could possibly correct itself. Its prolly just cause of the high rpms though." -_- I could not believe what i was hearing. Am i completely wrong in thinking that the smell is not normal and hes bullshitting me? Can anyone shed some light on this to help me out and tell me what would be the best thing to go about doing now?

Thanks in advance

So, if you had one headlight come unbaked and, presumably, you only needed one replaced, right? So, why'd he order two? Did I miss something?

Also, it sounds like your car might be getting starved of oil at the higher RPMs, but I could be wrong... :)

it smells like burnt metal...or it could possibly be oil its definately one of those two. and i dont know why he ordered two headlights lol

Are you the same guy with the bad clutch and turbo after running from the cops? Your writing and posting style are similar.
