I have the Greddy S with the hiboost, and it sounds great. I would recomend it to all...
Does the flange fit or did you have a one made? Just looking at the flange for my hiboost kit and it looks all wrong for the SSQV but right for the Type S odly enough.

I never did try the hks ssqv. I think it is the same flange for the both of them. I know that the HKS recirc fits on it, I wouldnt think they have a diff fit for the ssqv..

SSQ doesn't use bolts. I belive it's a snap ring deal but I could be wrong. Anyway, the Type S just fits the HKS recirc fitting that came with the kit?

Yeah. the type s bolts and the BOV all fit the flange that comes with the hiboost kit. the thread pattern and everything fit perfect.. Did I mention the ppppssssssssssttttttt???

Yeah, but don't you get pppppssssssst ka ka ka STALL? Or did you recirc it back to the intake?

thats what happened to mine I put a turboxs bov on my car and it used to stall all the time, I had the dealer flash my ecu and it hasn't stalled once! I am ordering the type s now though! ( didn't mean to hijack ya )

hks ssq will bolt right on to the hi-boost flange the msp kit comes with. i had it on my car for a week doing some testing and it sounded SWEET!!!! i did have stalling & rough idle problems. i did try adjusting the hks....but still no love. just a heads up for those of you thinking about it. (headshake

will the type-s just bolt on to the same flange too? and are you recirculating the type-s?

yes, im recirculating the hks bov that comes with the hi-boost kit.

The type s had some stalling for about 5 mins. Then I just adjusted the spring a little harder, and no problems at all. Carefull on the over tightening of it though, It will sound like crap if it is to tight. Mine has about 6 threads showing on the bolt to adjust. It is pretty easy to figure out where to set it.

Thank you spicy1390 that is very helpful. I think I'll pick that up. How should I cap off my intake? (I figure these questions would help the thread starter so I won't feel guilty about thread jacking)
